US stocks rose strongly on Wednesday in anticipation of an effective drug to treat corona , which triggered a widespread surge and encouraged investors to ignore grim GDP data and words of caution from Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell.

The number of Corona pandemic injuries, before midnight on Thursday, reached three million and more than 197,000, of whom more than 992,000 recovered and more than 226,000 died, according to WorldMeter.

There are about a third of those infected with the virus in the United States (one million and more than 52 thousand), and the countries of the world lead the way by a large difference in the number of deaths (more than 60 thousand).

The UK suddenly jumped to the third place in the number of deaths after the United States and Italy, due to the calculation of deaths in homes for the elderly, according to health authorities, where the deaths reached more than 26 thousand and 97, while the deaths of the virus in Italy reached 27 thousand and 682 cases.

Conflict with the drug Ramsdevir

There was great optimism today in Washington about Ramsdevir drug, as the American « Gilead Science » laboratory announced on Wednesday that its drug Ramsdevir showed « positive » results on people with Covid-19 as part of a wide clinical trial, in partnership with the American health institutes.

But on the same day, the medical journal The Lancet published disappointing results for a narrower Chinese study by comparison with a placebo, and it showed that patients treated with this antiviral drug that was developed to fight Ebola but did not get approval to treat any disease, did not give better results Of those registered with placebo.

After that, Dr. Anthony Fauchi, an epidemiologist and advisor to US President Donald Trump, confirmed that Ramsdevir’s antiviral drug had a « clear » effect in treating the emerging corona virus. He said, « The data show that Ramsdevir left a clear, important and positive effect in reducing the recovery period » of the patients with coronavirus.

And the contradiction between the studies is usual, but the study of the American Health Institutes is among the largest studies, and it has been a subject of intense anticipation, with the European experiment « Discovery » whose results are still expected.

The New York Times, quoting an unnamed senior administration official, said that US drug manufacturers and dealers may announce their decision to allow the emergency use of the remedifier for the Gelad Sciences Corporation to treat Corona virus on Wednesday.

This came during a press conference held at the government headquarters in Tunis, and it was devoted to announcing the reduced quarantine strategy that the government intends to adopt as of next Monday.
